Senator Aduda Condoles FCT Traditional Rulers Council Over Monarch’s Death

The Senate minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda, (MFR) representing the FCT has condoled the FCT administration and traditional rulers council in the territory over the demised of the chief of Pai chiefdom, His Royal Highness (HRH) Alhaji Abdullahi Bala Pai.

Aduda, who is the (Taliban -Karu) chiefdom, in a statement he signed and made available to newsmen in Abuja, on Saturday, also commiserated with the entire people of Pai chiefdom in the Kwali area council over the loss.

He said he received the news of the late traditional ruler with shock and sadness, saying the death of the monarch had created a big vacuum in the Kwali area council that can hardly be filled.

Aduda described the late monarch as a father that had always ensured peaceful co-existence among his subjects while praying for God to the FCT council of traditional rulers and the entire people of Pai chiefdom to bear the irreparable loss.

Our correspondent learned that the late monarch, died at the age of 85 years, as a result of old age at his residence on Saturday morning.

The late monarch, who has since been buried according to Islamic rites, is survived by 3 wives and 18 children, and many grandchildren.

Among traditional rulers that attended the funeral of the late monarch, including the Ona of Abaji, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, the Etsu of Kwali, Alhaji Shaban Audi Nizazo (III) The Agape of Ugbada-Gwargwda chiefdom, Alhaji Hussaini Agabi Mam, the Aguma of Gwagwalada, Alhaji Muhammadu Maggi and some other monarch’s.
