The senate minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda, representing the FCT on Monday, flagged – off the construction of Shadadi – Lanto road in Kuje area council of the FCT.
Our correspondent report that the senator, had two weeks ago, flagged – off dualization of Bazango and Byazhin roads in Kubwa, Bwari area council of the the territory.
Speaking during the flagged – off, Aduda, who was represented by the campaign DG of the PDP presidential campaign in the FCT, Ezekiel Dalhatu Musa, emphasized on the need of having a good road network in Kuje Area Council and across other area councils in the FCT.
He said his desire to embark on construction and dualization of some roads including rural communities was enhanced the rural dwellers access to good road network.
He said the construction of such roads were part of his constituency projects which he said he has been executing among other infrastructural projects since he was elected to the national assembly.
Aduda, however, reassured his commitment in ensuring that the good people of FCT have access to viable social amenities that will always impact on their lives.
According to him, it was his desire that the good people of the FCT enjoy dividends of democracy under his watch irrespective of tribe, gender or religion.
He emphasized on the need for the FCT residents to vote for credible leaders will always listen to their challenges.
Our correspondent report that the flags – off witnessed large turn out of PDP supporters, party faithfuls as well as residents of Kuje area council, who registered their satisfaction and commended the Senator for his efforts in addressing challenges of people at the grassroots.
However, some stakeholders and leaders of Shadadi community, expressed their gratitude to Aduda for awarding the construction of the road, while him of their support during the forth coming general election 2023 in the FCT.
