The senate minority leader, Senator Phillip Aduda representing the FCT has commiserated with family and entire people of Kuje area council of Abuja, over the demised of wife of the state chairman of the FCT wing of Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) late Mrs Christiana Stephen Knabayi.
Aduda, while speaking during the funeral service of late Mrs Christiana which held at ECWA II in Kuje on Saturday, said with heavy heart that he was saddened over the demised of the deceased, saying his wife was extremely very close to the deceased.

“And I remember sometimes last year, I was even given an award by the DC Women fellowship and she was part of it,” he said.
He said even before the demised of the deceased, he put a call through the deceased husband, even as he said his wife later visited the deceased while on admission at the national hospital in Abuja.
He said his wife became so worried after she visited the deceased at the hospital, saying even as he later spoke with husband of the deceased, he admired his response through the telephone.
“Because one thing that encouraged me not to go back to the hospital again is that my wife later came and told me that the deceased was getting better But you know while you do your own things, God is also planning his own ,”he added.
He said” who are we to question God almighty on decision he takes about us because he is the one that sustain us and has brought us here, “.

Aduda, however, urged the deceased family to take solace in the fact that the God almighty does his things at his own time, which he said nobody can question God.
” In fact, I always make reference to this when I lost my mother. The former senate president, Senator David Mark said you have lost your mother but she is with you in the spirit. And I was wondering and I said how? He said have you thought of a situation where you want to make a phone call and somebody calls you? It shows that you are connected with the spirit, “he added.
He also urged the children of the deceased to always belive that their late mother is with them spiritually and watching after them.
He further advised the deceased children to always hold on to those good memories they had with their late mother, saying their mother will be happy seeing her children holding on to those good memories they had while alive.
He, therefore, advised the deceased husband to continue to be a man he is, saying he must stand by his children and show good leadership, while he prayed for God to grant the deceased an eternal rest.

Our correspondent report that the senator Aduda was accomplished by the state PDP chairman in the FCT, Sunday Zaka, commissioner for public complaints Commission Mr Ezikel Dalhatu Musa, his special assistant on special duties, Samuel Danjuma Shekwolo and some top of his aides.
