Ada Anioma, as she is fondly called by her kinsman and women, is a dogged fire brand communication strategist, wielding enormous power at the corridors of power. I call her “Ada Anioma, the Iron Lady.”
Lauretta is a no nonsense woman and does not fraternize with buffoons. I know her to some extent. We ‘ve hard our own share of collabo and friction in the past, but we remained cordially connected with mutual respect for one another, irrespective of political divide.
And when we say that Senator Ovie Augustine Omo-Agege, is a deviant; arrogant, primitively proud and unnecessarily over desperate and not fit to govern a multi-ethnic state like Delta, we meant to say that he’s not morally, spiritually and mentally fit to preside over the affairs of our dear state. This is the gospel truth!
Onochie is a President Muhammadu Buhari’s diehard supporter from day one and she is unrepentant, unlike the wannabe Senator Ovie Omo-Agege who got Buhari’s attention through criminal act of mace snatching. Mr President recognized Onochie’s genuine support and made several attempt to reward her handsomely until he recently succeeded by making her the Board Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, because of her competence and loyalty. She is Deltan and that’s okay by me. Congratulations once again, Madam Chairman.
Hate her or love her, Madam Lauretta Onichie knows her onions. She is one of the political Amazons striking the right cords in Aso Rock Villa, due largely to her diligent, commitment and love for her party and Mr President. Therefore, all attempt by Senator Agege and his thugs in Onochie’s Ward exco to unjustly pull her down goes to no issue and will crash like a huge log before the axe.
I read Lauretta’s response to her criminally induced suspension, loaded with powerful and unadulterated innuendos, neatly tailored punches and highly sophisticated ballistic missiles, which in my view, has finally nailed Senator Agege’s political coffin in this dispensation.
Lauretta made it abundantly clear that Senator Agege failed woefully in the just concluded governorship election in Delta State, because he lacks spirit of team work, exceptionally rascal, very proud and arrogant to a fault, primitive in pursuit of political ambition, popular over criminal antecedents and not the kind of person Deltans yearned for to be their governor and Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa’s successor.
Madam Onochie was not economical with the truth in her response to the laughable suspension masterminded by the grandmaster of crude politics, Senator Agege. she laid it out bare, and that’s Lauretta Onochie for you.
Sane APC leaders and chieftains in Delta State bluntly refused to identify with Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and it reflected in the just concluded elections, wherein powerful and responsible chieftains of their party abstained from Agege’s poorly organized electioneering campaigns. Check the videos of his campaigns. Truth is Onochie aptly described Agege’s leadership insanity and poor public image. Nothing more to add.
What more can I say! Senator Agege has no mandate to retrieve at the Election Tribunal and in our Courts. It’s obvious, loud and clear from Lauretta Onichie ‘s brilliant submission, pointing to show that Delta State Governor-Elect, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, JP, got the full and final mandate of the good people of Delta State on March 18. Case closed!
Senator Agege must of a necessity do well to send a congratulatory message to our amiable, brand new and excessive local content incoming governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori.
