Member of finance committee in the Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Grand Patron Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu has arrived Lokoja, the state capital days ahead of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu campaign rally slated for Wednesday, 8th February, 2023.
Shuaibu Audu who is running for the Kogi State Governorship election of the All Progressives Congress, called on the people of the State to come out in their numbers to receive Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the flag bearer of the party in the February 25 presidential election.
He gave the assurance on Tuesday in an interview with some selected Journalists at his late father’s residence GRA, Lokoja.
According to him, he will be leading over 500 APC supporters from 21 LGAs to welcome Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Kogi State.
He described the upcoming campaign rally as the most important political activities in history of politicking in the State.
“I arrived Kogi 48 hours to initial campaign rally as to meet all my support groups across the State towards massive mobilisation for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
“We will not sleep until Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates are delivered from top to bottom during the forthcoming elections in the State”.
Speaking on the upcoming gubernatorial election in the State, Shuaibu Audu said he is more concerned about delivering Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu first before venturing into another political journey.
He urged the people of Kogi State to vote massively for the candidates of APC from State to National levels.
He however, said he is in race for State governorship position but was waiting for the official time to unveiled himself.
Global Times Nigeria report that Shuaibu Abubakar Audu is a renowned banker in Lagos and son of first and second executive governor of Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu of the blessed memory.
Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu is an origin of Ogbonicha, Ofu LGA, Kogi East of the State.
