There are Rumours making the wave on the internet of the suspected case of Coronavirus in Olamaboro which has sent fear to the spine of Kogites particularly from the Eastern part of Kogi state.
In a bit to take proper measures, the Kogi state government has swung into actions through the Senior Special Assistant On Security to Gov. Bello, Hon. Adejoh Nicodemus, Friday, the immediate past Administrator of Olamaboro Local Government.
The former Adminstrator has urged the general public to Debunks such rumours of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) case in Olamaboro and described it as fake news.
According to him, The rumour was initiated by enemies of Kogi whose interest is centered on desperation to dent the good and reputable image of the state for political difference.
Hon. Adejoh Pexy further commended Gov. Bello for efforts made so far to avert the global pandemic Virus from reaching the state.
Mr Adejoh admonished people of the LG to be very vigilant and adhere strictly to all medical prescription given by the NCDC to save lives.
