SSA SDGs, Princess Adefulire Attends 77th UNGA.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals SSAP-SDGS was part of the week long 77th United Nations GeneralSSA SDGs, Princess Adefulire Attends 77th UNGA Assembly UNGA holding at the United States.
Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire appointed in 2016 will be attending the global session for consecutive seven times in a row, having held the position in the last six years.
The former deputy governor of Lagos state untill her appointment was at the world session in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and now 2022.
The SSA- SDGs was attending the long session that started in September 12 and ending on 28 to further consolidate on the huge successes recorded on the 17 goals in Nigeria, and efforts towards solidifying the decade of action of 2020-2030.
As the pioneer SSA -SDGs to Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, Princess Adefulire had used the occasion to confer with the enlarged body on more inroads to extricate socioeconomic crises among many others, and domesticated in Nigeria at national and sub- national level across all strata.
Over 150 world leaders including president Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria and top government officials across the world will witness the yearly program in 2022.
President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to address the session on Wednesday , 21 on many issues that boardered on education, health and humanitarian crises across the world.
