Kogi state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has warned All Progressives Congress, APC, leaders and aspirants in the state against divisive tendencies that could jeopardise the interest of the party and undermine the peace and unity that the ruling party had been known for in the state under his leadership.
Reacting to the trending news of suspension of a member of the National Working Committee (NWC) and a Governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, who is the leader of the party in Kogi State, has warned against bickerings that can undermine the peace and unity of the APC.
The Governor who noted with pride that the party under his leadership has fared well and known for peace and tranquility throughout the years without blemish.

In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, said the Governor has directed all aspirants in the forthcoming governorship primaries in the state to focus on their strengths in wooing party members and refrain from divisive tendencies in the interest of the party.
“Our party will ensure a fair playing ground for the best candidate to emerge in the primary election and together we shall win the governorship election, with a wide margin, in November”. Fanwo said
Governor Yahaya Bello therefore wishes all aspirants successful screening and subsequent processes for the conduct of the primary election come April.
