The Ciroma of Toto, Alhaji Musa Muhammed Maikaya, has once again received recognition of Award from Nasarawa Social Media Association (NASMA), Nasarawa Local Government Chapter, at his residence in Toto, Nasarawa State.
Alhaji Muhammed Maikaya said “this is like a feedback to me. It is a sign to show that what we are doing is being recognized by the people and we are happy about it. I commend NASMA for finding me worthy of this honour and I assure them that we will continue to work to put smiles on the faces of the people out there”
Alhaji Maikaya who is the CEO, Maikaya Development Foundation and Maikaya Farm Limited, pointed out that the whole essence of living is giving and adding more value to humanity, stressing that he will continue to seize opportunities to impact the lives of others positively.
Speaking further, the Ciroma of Toto said the issue of impacting the lives of others does not necessarily involve having everything at ones disposal, explaining that whatever level one is in life, there will always be an avenue to help others.
Addressing NASMA, Nasarawa Local Government Chapter, Alhaji Musa Maikaya enjoined the Group to continue to abide by the ethics of Media profession at all times.
In an interview with GlobaltimesNigeria, the Chairman, Nasarawa Social Media Association (NASMA), Nasarawa LG Chapter, Ismail Samai, said NASMA was on a courtesy visit to the Ciroma of Toto and to make known to him the presence of NASMA in the Area.
He pointed out that the Association has been hearing of the good deeds of Alhaji Maikaya, saying that his impact has gone viral across the Country.
“We have been hearing about the Ciroma of Toto all the time, so we are here to have a cordial relationship with him. Part of our aims/objectives is to serve as a mediator between the people and the government. We are aware that Alhaji Muhammed Maikaya has been in the business of rendering Humanitarian services so, we are here to intimate him about our activities”
“Alhaji Maikaya is a leader of good reputation, the way he do his things is just so unique and his contributions to the Society are so glaring that even generations to come will live to remember this name – Alhaji Musa Maikaya. So on this premise we decided to honor him and appreciate his efforts”
Ismail Samai noted that Alhaji Musa Maikaya’s empowerment programs has in no small measure helped at curbing societal vices as youths who maybe attracted to societal ills have been engaged positively through the Phillantropic gesture of the Ciroma of Toto.
He enjoined him to continue in his good works, stressing that the younger ones are watching and aspiring to thread the path he is paving already.
The Chairman of NASMA assured that the Association has a lot of packages to deliver to the public next year, assuring of members readiness to work to achieve the aims/objectives of the Association in 2021.
