Deputy Director, Tinibu/Shetima Campaign Council for Kogi state, Hon. Abdulkarim Onyiekehi Suleiman, has congratulated the President elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his well deserved victory at the poll.

In an exclusive interview with Daily Times on Wednesday in Lokoja, Hon. Suleiman stated that the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the begining of prosperity for all Nigerians irrespective of religion ,ethnicity or creed.

The youthful politician who commended the efforts of Kogi state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello ,for his immense contributions towards the success of President elect, also hailed the entire All Progressives Congress supporters across the country for the peaceful and successful conduct of the Presidential and National Assembly elections.

He therefore reminded the President elect on his promise to resuscitate the dormant Ajaokuta Steel Company that was closed down during the Military era.

Suleiman who is also the Special Adviser to Kogi state governor, on Social Investment programme (SIP), recalled that the outgoing APC administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has recently concluded arrangements with foreign Steel and technical experts to step in and complete the plant for its immediate take off.

While he requested the President elect to make history by reconstructing federal roads in Kogi state being the gateway to both the North and the Southern parts of the country, the Deputy Director of the Tinibu/Shetima Campaign Council, urged the in coming President to replicate Lagos in Kogi by opening up Lokoja, being one of the ancient seats of colonial administrations.

He also advised the President elect on the need to sustain and expand the Social Investment programme, which he said has lifted over 350,000 persons across Kogi state, while about 75,000 benefited from the Conditional Cash Transfer, aimed at eradicating poverty a universal project sponsored by the World Bank.

On brief review of the present administration under Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Special Adviser, noted with satisfaction the peaceful coexistence among people of the state .

Suleiman who stated that without peace there won’t be any meaningful development,however hailed Governor Bello for tackling insecurity headlong, a scenario that has created opportunity for the numerous physical and social developments across the state.

The governor’s aide disclosed that as a good leader Bello has brought social justice to the state which has led to equitable distribution of socio economic amenities , emphasizing that without justice there will be no peace.

He therefore appealed to the entire people of the state to continue to be loyal and supportive to the 1bello administration so as to reap more dividends of democracy.
