Stakeholders drawn from all works of life with sole aims of contributing their quota towards nation building recently gather in Toto local government to discussed peace, unity of purpose and development in the area.
Nasarawa State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi who is a Special guests on Thursday attended a multi-cultural day celebration in Toto local government area of the State.
The event had in attendance some notable stakeholders across the State who share an Alhaji Musa Muhammed Maikaya, ex-Nasarawa State Gubernatorial aspirant, State Commissioner for Health, Pharm. Ahmed Baba Yahaya, Director General Pension Bureau, Nasarawa State, Barr. Labaran Magaji.
Other are SAs, SSAs, former local government Chairmen, former Commissioners and APC consensus candidate for Toto local government election.
The colourful and most attended even took place at Central Pilot primary School Toto was organized by Toto Multi-Cultural Association TOCAMA and was tagged “Display of Different Ethnic Groups in Toto”.
Our correspondent report that the most colorful event brought together personalities including Gov. Abdullahi Sule who was represented by the State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism Dogo Shammah, Alh. Musa Maikaya and Barr. Labaran Magaji among others.
The Toto local government political leader commended the organizers of the event noted that the occasion has come to stay and will unite the various ethnic nationalities in the area.
The Speaker who reminded the people of Toto LG said council election is around the corner and urged m the people of Toto LG to speak with one voice which he re-emphasized the need for more patriotism by the people.
“Governor Abdullahi A. Sule meant well for our people, he initiated several projects in Toto local government and those projects are life touching ones that has direct bearing to people. ”

He said some people thought they could used politics to divide the people along religion, sentiment and tribe but today occasion has proved them wrong and on that basis he called for more support to enable the government of the day succeed in its quest to provided good governance to her citizens.
