The First Class Traditional Ruler of Egbira People in Nasarawa State the Ohimegye Opanda Umaisha, HRH Alh. Usman Abdullahi has given Dr Faisal Shuaib, the Executive Secretary of, National Primary Healthcare Department Agency( NPHCDA) a path on the back for renovating and equipping a community clinic in his domain with states of the art facilities.
The first-class traditional ruler and Chairman Toto LG Traditional Council of Chiefs gave the commendation when the Executive Chairman Toto LG, Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas visited Umaisha to inspect the clinic called on the State Government to complement the gesture by posting health personnel to the clinic for optimal productivity.
The Ohimegye Opanda Alhaji Usman Abdullahi has applauded the philanthropic gesture of the son of the area Dr. Faisal Shuaib, the Executive Secretary National Primary Healthcare Department Agency NPHCDA Abuja for his efforts for total reconstruction of the famous Umaisha Clinic and Dispensary Centre which was built in 1942 by the colonial masters to improve on the health status of the people of the area and its environs.
Abdullahi, who was overwhelmed by the quality and standard of the equipment supplied into the facility, said the gesture would also improve the standard of living of the people of the area.
” I am happy with this gesture by Dr. Faisal as this will improve on the health status of my people and other citizens,” he said.
He called on sons and daughters of Toto LGA to emulate Dr. Faisal’s gesture.
” I want to use this medium to call on sons and daughters of Toto Local Government both at home and in the diaspora to always remember their ancestral home wherever they find themselves”
” I have to invite the local government chairman to join me in appreciating Dr. Faisal for reaching out to the people of my kingdom”
“He is not doing all these for political reasons but his kind contribution in terms of improving the standard of living of the people”.
Also speaking, the Executive Chairman Toto local government area, Hon Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas thanked the donor for the wonderful humanitarian gesture and the Ohimege for his leadership style and called for its sustenance.
” When a good leader is at the helm of affairs, there is always good followership and good things coming for the people, he said.
Hon Tashas while congratulating the good people of Opanda land, called on other sons and daughters to emulate Dr. Shuaib’s stewardship for a better Toto Local Government Area.
He expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done which involved the total renovation of the entire structure, provision of solar power, beds, borehole, ambulance among other modern facilities, and hailed the donor for the kind gesture.
The newly reconstructed Clinic and Dispensary Centre has wards, maternity room, consulting room, borehole and overhead tank, mobile Ambulance, motorcycle, toiletries, and other basic accessories.
