Global Time Nigeria reports that Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule has been commended for providing succour to ransacked Dausu community in Toto Local Government Area of the State.
The Executive Chairman of Toto LG, Hon. (Prince) Nuhu Adamu Dauda gave the commendation Saturday, 4th October, 2020 at Ohimege Of Opanda palace Umaisha Development Area, while presenting the relief materials to HRH. Ohimege of Opanda (Agaba Idu) Alhaji. Abdullahi Usman on behalf of the Dausu community.
Prince Adamu said the people of the area will ever remain grateful to the Governor for his proactive response aimed at giving the people hope again after series of Banditry attack in the area.
“If not for his proactive measures only God knows what will have be our faith today ” But thanks to God and His Excellency as normalcy has returned, economic activities is going with no fear of the dare devil”. He stated
Receiving the items, HRH. Alhaji Usman Abdullahi thanked Governor Abdullahi A. Sule through Nasaraww State Emergency Management Agency, (NASEMA) for identify with his people, for providing succour to the victims of the recent attack, and also his recent security architecture which now guarantee the safety of lives and properties.
He however, pledge his people’s total support and loyalty to the government in order to do more through provision of dividends of democracy not only to the people of Toto but rather the state at large.
Similarly, the Egbir National Development Association ( ENDA ) has donated 15 Motor Cycles to the hunters and Vigilante group in the area to boast their moral in their ongoing fight against banditry.
Hon. Alhaji Mohammed Garba Isimbabi, who is heading ENDA’s Welfare, finance and implementation committee, said 10 out of Fifteen ( 15 ) Motorcycles were specifically for Vigilante Group of Nigeria ( VGN ) Toto LGA and five ( 5 ) was earlier donated to the military super camp situated at Kanyehu village in TLGA.
According former National Assembly Aspirant, “the gesture was to expressed our appreciation for their gallant efforts in dislodging the dreaded Darus-salam bandits and other related security threat terrorising the Local Government”.
“ENDA as a body is pleased with this singular efforts, ENDA will continue to partner with security agency in the area to secure a crime free society, in addition to this feat, grading of road from Kenyehu – Uttu linking Kparekye Koton-Karfe, Kogi Local Government in Kogi state, Model Health Facility is under construction and drilling of Motorize-bore-holes to ease the work of our gallant officers were all ENDA efforts to alleviate suffering and to consolidate on the government efforts”.
“This is what ENDA as body is doing for now, we are grateful to His Excellency and this is only way to support his administration”. Isimbabi stated.
The Executive Chairman of Toto LG, Prince Nuhu Adamu Dauda while expressing his open appreciation on behalf of the government said ENDA has done so much for her people through Philanthropies programs which serve as support to Engr. Abdullahi .A. Sule led administration.
Prince Adamu said this shows the people’s how care and responsive the Egbira Nation are, especially of reciprocating the government gesture.
In his remark, HRH. Ohimegye Opanda applauded the ENDA especially for grading the Kenyehu – Uttu road and appealed to His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule to consider the Kenyehu – Uttu road for construction as a major project as it is the shortest and easy link between Nasarawa and Kogi States and one of the feeder road in the LGA.
