Governor Abdullahi A. Sule led APC Administration in Nasarawa State has been commended for its commitment towards transforming the state for betterment of all particularly in the areas of infrastructural development, socioeconomic policy, security of life and property, Education and among other.
A Chairmanship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Toto Local Government Area, Dr. Zakari Shuaibu Lokogoma, Tuesday promised to focus on good governance, infrastructural development, unity, peace and security, employment and qualitative education if voted in as council chairman.
Speaking with Globaltimesnigeria.com at his hospital, Lokogoma, Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, while hosting a blogger and indigenous youth from the area, Yahaya Idris Toto, said his aim is to make Toto Local Government Area a worthy place for all its citizens, a local government that will be a shining light throughout the nation if voted in as the council chairman.
According to him, his plan is to establish a society in which all sons and daughters of the area will have no anxiety about work, food; where disease is brought under control, where educational facilities would be provided for the schools with the best possible opportunities for learning.
He assured that Governor Abdullahi A. Sule’s transformation drive would be replicated in the local government area, where every will person gain from the commitment and will contribute to the general well being of the council.
The Medical Doctor noted that his government will consult all citizens of the area and come up with the best policy and programme that will bring true satisfaction to the people, saying, to achieve this, it is the responsibility of all from the area and promised to improve on the performance of the former administrators.
“The realisation of good governance in the council area demands the collective efforts of all stakeholders in the area, noting that the starting point is through the election of a credible person that has the capacity to transform the area.
Dr. Zakari Shuaibu advised the party faithful in particular, as well as all residents in the council to participate actively in the electoral process, especially the APC registration and revalidation in order to have a say in the forthcoming council polls.
