Toto LG Council Boss, Prince Nuhu Adamu Dauda Provides Relieves Materials To Flood victims In Umaisha District

In his usual magnanimity to provide palliatives to flood victims in some riverine communities in Umaisha, Toto Local Government Area of the State, the Executive Chairman of the council has on Sunday donated food items, relief materials and a Million naira to alleviate their plights.

Chairman of the council, Prince Nuhu Adamu Dauda made the presentation of the following items which included, 100 bags of rice, One Million Naira cash (#1.000.000), Mosquito nets to victims of flood disaster in the area.

While making the presentation at the palace of Ohimege Opanda, in Umaisha Development Area, Prince Dauda said it was part of his administration’s commitment to come to their aids and provide them with succor.

While receiving the donations, the Ohimege Opanda, HRM. Alh. Usman Abdullahi appreciated the foresight of the chairman for supporting the flood victims and called on both national and state emergency agencies to come to their aids.

Ohimegye (Agaba Idu), said the donations would go along way in redeeming hardship been face by affected victims urging the beneficiary to judiciously use the materials for the benefits of what it was intended for.

The first class monarch appreciated the Speaker of the State House Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, Sen Abdullahi Adamu, Representatives Abdulmumini Ari and other sons and daughters of the area who have previously send in their supports for the flood victims. The statement added.
