“… says the N3bn road commissioned by the Governor will boost socio-economic activities of people of his constituency.

Hon Mohammed Okpoku, member representing Udege/ Loko Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has commended Gov. Abdullahi Sule for constructing 25km Mararaba – Udege road in Nasarawa Local Government Area of the state.

This, he said that the road would not only boost the socio-economic activities of the people of the area but would also improve on their standard of living.

Okpoku, the Chairman, House Committee on NASIEC gave the commendation while speaking with newsmen on the commissioning of the road by Gov. Abdullahi Sule represented by his Deputy, Dr Emmanuel Akabe on Monday.

The Lawmaker said that the road would also boost agriculture and revenue base of the people of the area.

” We will continue to remain grateful to His Execellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule for embarking on projects that have direct bearing on the lives of our people.

” The construction of Mararaba Udege road will boost socio-economic activities of our people, boost agricultural activities and will also improve on the standard of living of our people,” he said.

Okpoku called on the people of his constituency to continue to support Gov. Sule’s administration to succeed beyond 2023 in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

Besides, he has assured the people of his constituency of his continued determination to provide purposeful leadership at the state legislature.

The lawmaker further called on the people of his constituency to live in peace and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations.

It would be recalled that on Monday, April 11, Gov. Sule, represented by his Deputy, Dr Emmanuel Akabe has commissioned N3billion 25 km Mararaba Udege Road in Nasarawa LG Area of the State.
