Wards PDP women leaders lauds Senator Aduda’s empowerment scheme.

The women leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across the ten wards of Gwagwalada area council of Abuja, have commended the empowerment scheme of the senate minority leader, Senator Phillip Aduda representing the FCT.

Cross section of the party’s women leaders gave the commendation during senator Aduda’s wife, Princess Hauwa Philip Aduda campaign tour across the ten political wards of the council ove the weekend.

Speaking during the interface with some group of Tungan Maje ward of the council by wife of Senator Aduda, the PDP women leader of Tungan Maje ward, Hajiya Mairo G. Gimba, noted that the empowerment scheme of Senator Aduda has continued to impacted positively on the lives of women across various house holds of the ward.

She added that Aduda’s empowerment scheme has also touched the lives of women including widows and the vulnerable across Tungan Maje ward, while assuring Aduda’s wife of women total support for her husband re election during the February, 25, 2023 election.

She assured Aduda’s wife that she will mobilise women across the ward to ensure that they come out in their large numbers to vote senator Aduda, Atiku Abubakar and the two houses of representatives candidates at the polls.

“And I want to assure our mama, wife of our able distinguished senator and awaiting senate president, Senator Phillip Aduda that, the re election of Senator Aduda is a task which by God grace we women of Tungan Maje ward shall accomplished God willing,” she said.

Also speaking, the party’s women leader for Ibwa ward of the council, Mrs Zainab Danjum, also commended senator Aduda for effort towards empowring the women across the ward.

She noted that the empowerment scheme carried out through the support of Aduda’s wife by organizing skills tans acquisition programme has impacted positively on the lives of every some in the ward.

“I can attest to the fact that many women across Ibwa ward are today into businesses of their choices, courtesy of your husband and I we shall mobiise to vote for him again come on 2023 God willing,” she said.

Danjuma, who also commended senator Aduda for extension of electrification project to the community, apealed for construction of road that link Ibwa and Paiko, which she is the major challenge facing people of the area.

Earlier, wife of the senate minority leader, Princess Hauwa Philip Aduda, told the women that she is embarking on campaign tour across the 62 political wards of the FCT in order appreciate the women for their continuous support for her husband.

She, however, stressed on the need for women and other critical stakeholders to ensure they come out in their numbers again to re-elect her husband to represent the good people of FCT in the red chamber again so that he can continue with the good work.

Princess Hauwa informed the women to see beyond tribal or religious sentiment and vote for competency and good representation, even as she listed some of her husband projects across Gwagwalada area council.
