The activities lined up for the coronation of the new Attah Igala kingdom midweek climaxed with the completion of the nine stages which is expected to be strictly adhere to before ancestry to the throne of his fore-fathers.
Idah local government and the sit of igala kingdom literally came to a halt as personalities from all walks of life, the Deputy speaker of the State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Ahmed Muhammed led Government’s high powered delegation which comprised the nine members representing Kogi east .
Also spotted at the Attah -Igala palace are, the Ojogba Ife, Chief Boniface Musa, the Onu Igala Lagos, Chief Ejima who led powerful Igala group from Lagos, the chairman central working committee for the coronation of the new Attah Igala, Chief Sylvester Onoja, the Onu Gwologwu, Chief Mathew Daikwo, the Onu Igala Lokoja, Chief Joseph Akpa, Onu Iyale, Dirisu Wada, as well as musicians and masquerades were on ground for the celebration.
The Deputy speaker, Right Honourable Ahmed Mohammed while chatting with newsmen at the Attah Igala palace Idah expressed happiness over the emergence of his Royal Highness, Chief Alaji Mathew Opaluwa Ogwuche as the new Attah Igala kingdom.
The Deputy speaker who led a high powered delegation on behalf of kogi state Government expressed explicit confidence that his Royal Highness reign as the custodian of the rich igala cultures ,norms and tradition would user in unity, peace and sustainable development stating that the land and its people would observe total change in all ramifications.
Right Honourable Ahmed Mohammed admonished sons and daughters of igala land to accord their unfettered cooperation by operating in peace, unity and speak in unison for the common good of the kingdom.
The sitting lawmaker who represent the people of Ankpa 1 State Constituency at the house of Assembly gave every hope of the members to continued to make viable laws that will networks their client-ale to good governance.
