Residents of Jikoyi, Gbanzago, Kuduru, Byazhin in both Bwari and Abuja Municipal Area Councils in the FCT chanted ‘we can’t afford to miss you’ ‘you are still our senator’ it is you only you we know in ‘the FCT’ during the ongoing projects inspection by Senator Philip Aduda on Saturday, in Abuja.
Aduda, who is the senate minority leader, was accomplished by the the national commissioner for Public Complaints Commission (PCC) representing the FCT, Mr Ezikel Dalhatu Musa, alongside some of his top aides, were recieved by mammoth crowd mostly women, men and youth at Gbanzago where he went to inspect the ongoing 3.2 kilometer ring road.
Some women and youth as well as children upon sighting Aduda alighting from his car in the long convoy, while some of them rose from their comfort seat to embrace him, while some elderly women saying “we can’t afford to miss you.” you are still our landlord’.
Also, some children were seen exchanging pleasantries holding the senator Aduda’s hands, even as some motorists who upon hearing his name alighted from their vehicle to have a glimpse of Senator Aduda.
A resident of Byazhin, Mrs Christiana Amos, said senator Aduda has done a lot for the people of the area especially in the area of projects execution, which she said has been impacting on their lives.
“For example in my area where I reside, the road was not motorable some years back, but Aduda came and fix the road. Aside that, we also don’t have access to water, but today, Senator Aduda, has built a borehole for us as we no longer have problems problem of water again, “she said

She, however, prayed for God to continue to guard and protect him, saying the achievement of Aduda has surpassed that of his predecessors since he was elected to the national assembly.
Another resident of Jikoyi, Dauda Babalola, said the construction road through senator Aduda has brought a big relief to residents of the area, after the road has caused untold hardship on residents of the area in the past.
He also commended senator Aduda’s effort by providing transformer to the people of the area, saying the residents are now enjoying stable electricity in the area.
“before now honestly, the road was impossible but with the intervention of Senator Aduda, we can ply this ply the road with ease, while he has also provided us with a transformer too” he said.
Mrs Gladys Ebere, said senator Aduda has always carried people along irrespective of party, religious and ethnic affiliation, while praying for God to make him succeed in whatever he struggle that will continue to bring more development to the people of the FCT.
