The Executive Chairman Of Owan West Local Council Area in Edo State, Hon Frank Ilaboya, has restated the commitment of the Council to the Obaseki/Shaibu re-election Project come 2020.
He disclosed this yesterday during the swearing in ceremony of the Council Secretary, Hon Odion Iruobe Daniel.
According to the Council boss, the re-election bid of the governor and his deputy is not negotiable and tasked the Secretary to key into the project with all vigor.
“I congratulate you for your reappointment as the Secretary of this council, your reappointment is a testimony of your loyalty and commitment to work. I implore you to continue in this direction, and do more.
“I also want to use this opportunity to task you to use the influence of your office to galvinize support for the Obaseki/Shaibu 2020 Project. You are quite aware that the success of this project is not negotiable in Owan West and you have to join hand with the party to deliver,” Hon Ilaboya explained.
In his response, the newly sworn in Secretary assured the Chairman of his undiluted loyalty to the Council and the State Government.
He also assured of his total commitment to the 2020 Project and promised to be one of the major drivers of the Project.
The brief event was witnessed by the Vice Chairman of the Council, Hon Moses Mayah, Head of Local Government Administration, Sir. Brodricks Omokaro, Director of Administration and General Services, Mrs. Bunmi Omaimoje, Heads of departments and some other members of the council.
The wife of the newly reappointed SLG, Mrs. Temi Iruobe and the mother, Dame Vero Alufohai-Iruobe were also in attendance.
