Mrs. Christabel Eremah Ekwu was born to the family of Abdullahi Dania from Akoko-Edo, Edo State. She began her primary school education at Eshioza Primary School between 1996 and 2002. Between 1996 and 2002, she attended Akoko-Edo Comprehensive College, Igarra, and Mean Mixed Secondary School, Akoko-Edo between 2001 and 2002, where she obtained her West Africa Examination School Certificate (WAEC) She then proceeded between 2003 and 2006 to Borben Polytechnic where she obtained her National Diploma in Business Administration. Between 2011-2014, she obtained her Higher National Diploma (HND). And afterwards, she proceeded to Nasarawa State University for her Post Graduate Degree in Entrepreneurship between 2018 and 2021. Her Master’s Degree is in view on Entrepreneurship in the same Nasarawa University.

She is the President, Eremah Shining Light Foundation based Akoko-Edo which is basically involved in the sensitization of youth against social vices.

The vision of Eremah Shinning Light Foundation, ESLIFO, is to reach the unreached in our society with adequate information and encouragement people for better living.

Mission: ESLIFO is a purpose-driven organization which gives direction for glorious and promising future to the next generation.

Mrs. Christabel Eremah Ekwu is married to Mr. El-amstrong and blessed with children. Her hobbies includes singing and reading. She is a member of PMAN, Akoko-Edo Chapter. She is popularly called the queen of Akoko-Edo highline, with her recent award as the most sensational Gospel Artist of the year during the Okpameri Music Award in December, 2021.

She joined active politics in Akoko-Edo as a PDP member in 2018 and she is a member of the Party in Constuency 1, Ward 5. Undoubtedly, she is a loyal Party woman who had sworn allegiance to the constitution of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Mrs. Christabel Eremah Eku’s political vision is to see that there are impactful and meaningful projects in constuency 1;

To increase economic empowerment of women for their betterment.

To sponsor bills that will better protect women and children.

To establish skills acquisition centres in constuency 1 for youths to promote self sufficiency and self reliance.

To engage the your in life-changing programs in collaboration with relevant intervention agencies to stem social vices in constituency 1.

To encourage women to play participatory politics and be actively involved in decision and policy making.
