Wife of Niger State Governor Charges Women to make their voices heard as Nigeria marks 62nd Independence Anniversary.

Nigerians have been charged not to waver in their commitment to building a more prosperous and great country Nigeria,despite the challenges the country have faced in the past sixty two years.

The wife of Niger state Governor, Doctor Amina Abubakar Bello gave the charge while felicitating with Nigerlites and Nigerians on the occasion of the Country’s sixty second independence Anniversary.

In a statement by Rabi Sarki Bello, Press Secretary to the wife of Niger State Governor observed with dismay the security challenges which have led to the unnecessary loss of lives and displacement of innocent lives.

She however noted with pleasure the recent positive successes recorded by the Armed forces against these criminals.

The wife of the state Governor posited that as we mark the country’s 62nd independence anniversary,now, is the time for all of us,to be rededicated and more focused on attaining our collective aspirations for our beloved country.

She said, this is even more necessary now that the country is on the hold of electing new leadership and representatives at National and state levels.

The wife of the state Governor, therefore, called on politicians to eschew campaigns that would unnecessarily heat up the polity,rather encourage national cohesion,through issue based campaigns.

Doctor Amina Abubakar Bello, assured of her unrelenting commitment to improving the lives of our womenfolk,children and the physically challenged,who are always the victims and most vulnerable at times of insecurity.

She then enjoined women to make their voices heard during the campaigns,while bargaining for inclusiveness in governance when a new government is elected.

Doctor Amina Abubakar Bello also charged youths to be Vanguard’s of positive politicking rather than being tools for thuggery and destruction.
