The wife of the Senator representing Kano South District in the ninth National Assembly, Doctor Halimat Kabiru Gaya has consoled Governor Yahaya Bello, Ebira nation, and the entire people of Kogi State over the death of their illustrious son, Chief Engineer Joseph Makoju.

In a message of condolence to the immediate family which was made available to newsmen in Lokoja, Doctor Halima Kabiru Gaya said she received the passing away of Chief Joseph Makoju with sadness and disbelief.

She said the deceased while alive made his impact felt on the socio-economic landscape as he held sensitive positions that had immensely contributed to the growth of the country.

Doctor Halima Kabiru Gaya also remarked that the deceased Invaluable and intellectual know-how in the power sector as well as in the cement industry and a member of the Advisory Committee for the New Direction administration of Governor Yahaya Bello in which she equally served as a member would not be forgotten in a hurry.

She admonished the state Governor, Ebira nation, and entire citizens of Kogi State to take solace in the fact that late Chief Engineer Joseph Makoju lived a fulfilled and accomplished life haven reached the zenith of his profession as well as several lives touched while alive.
