Prince Okey Emezu is a reputable personality in Igboland who command respect from young, old women and even in the Northern and Southern regions of the country. He is out to redeem his people through loving and caring for one and another as against Nnamdi Kanu hatred campaign on Social Media against those who have summon courage towards building bridges of peace, progress and development in the Igboland.
The following statement were from Prince Okey Emezu: “Will He Not One Day Ask Them To Beat Up Their Parents For Voting For A Candidate Of Their Choice? Is This Not Why There Is Fear To Open Up And Embrace The Truth In Igboland Today?”.
Gov Hope Uzodimma is not a saint but he has been seen struggling to become one. He has distinguished himself in the fight to rid Imo State of corruption and foster unity, peace and prosperity. Yet he is the most criticized politician in Igboland despite the fact that he had within this short period soared above most of the governor’s in terms of performance and fighting for the people.
No matter what he does, even if he pays the pensions of the already dead pensioners who are in the grave right now, If he likes let him construct road into the Assumpta Cathedral Owerri, and if he likes let him make Imo the heaven of sorts, the IPOB Social Media Warriors (ISMW) will still criticize him, not just because he is underperforming but because the IPOB Supreme Leader had him in his book and has turned his social media warriors into attacking anyone who has anything to do with APC even if he is an angel.
Leaders should be criticized based on an open minded assessments of their performance, integrity and not on their political inclinations, affiliations and social media antecedents of their distractors.
Unfortunately most of these rants and banters are not from Imo State. Meanwhile their own States are not doing better than ours. Imo State has continued to be the city on a hill as long as the Eastern Nigeria is concerned. Again there is a strong indication that grassroots of Imo people likes Hope Uzodimma and they are with him.
Governor Hope Uzodimma will continue to soar high despite the distractions from the IPOB infested social media. And we will continue to give him our supports and prayers as long he continues with this goals of making the life of Ndi-Imo better, and making Imo to wear this reflections of a good governance.
