Women of Awards Announces Obama Award Recipient, Dr Roopa, As International Brand Ambassador.

Women of Heart Awards is awarding for the second time the International Brand Ambassador crowned title to a woman who has shown an enormous portfolio of work and governs from the heart to be part of its new project of highlighting portfolios of women’s careers and creating positive awareness about the Women of Heart Awards celebration, which debuted in 2020.

In celebrating the heart of humanity on November 12th, London as 2022 newly crowned brand ambassador, Dr Roopas’s mission is to help generate further multinational attention.

Dr Roopa has been appointed the branding and fundraising officer of Women of Foundation, WOHF.

The Founder and Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Women of Heart Awards and WOHF, Princess Desziree Richardson in London, said Dr Roopa Modha is an excellent addition to the WOHA project because of her wealth of experience and acclaimed international status.

The International brand Ambassador, Dr Modha, is a multi-talented individual who has succeeded in various disciplines, from the law, entrainment, and Journalism as editor/ writer, host/ webcomic artist/illustrator and science to fashion.

She is a jack of all trades that masters all, a rare fit that a genius can only achieve.
Dr Roopa Modha is also a model of fashion week, an attorney, and as a lawyer, she has an intellectual property law and entertainment firm.

A proud academic with Doctorate in Law, Bachelor in Health Science and Associate Degree in Computer Programming was the commencement speaker at graduation in all three programmes.

The International Brand Ambassador of WOHA has always led her classes academically and, in addition to being a lawyer, is a journalist/ media personality. TV host, Indian classical dance teacher, author, illustrator, webcomic artist, and Philanthropist who works extensively on women’s rights for girls’ education.

As a lyricist, She wrote and conceptualised  ‘ I Rise ‘ by Agents of Harmony W and donates the proceeds to girls’ education.

Dr Roopa Modha as a winner of many success stories in 2017, equally won the Ms Woman of Achievement award representing India.

An internationally acclaimed anchor and master of ceremonies, MC has hosted shows around the United States of America, U.S.A and other parts of the world.

No wonder Music Producer/ Director / Singer Bappi Lahiri commented to her that he had seen many Master of Ceremonies and MCs in Bollywood and Hollywood. Still, she remains “ the best “ and “ Most intelligent “.

Roopa is in high demand as a writer; she was Honored by the Barack Obama White House for her work for girls’ education and is also a recipient of the Presidential Service Award in the U.S.A.

In 2019, Roopa did her Arangetram, and she is a Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Odissi dancer. She is also an Indian classical dance teacher who teaches three styles – bharatanatayam, Kuchipudi, and Odissi. She is a Zumba- certified dance instructor.

Dr Roopa was also part of a team of dancers that achieved a central India Book of Records bharatanatayam record on January 31, 2021. She was also recognised in January 2021 as a “ Trailblazer “ by the Achievement Awards in India.

Some notable achievements include the following:
Helped organise and participated in a team of 125 global dancers who achieved both an India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records in 2021 for most participants in a virtual setting completing jathis ( rhythmic portions in Indian classical dance )

The Achievers Awards in India 2020 recognized Roopa for being a Trailblazer.

Roopa was recognized as a top intellectual property law attorney by “ The Lawyers of Distinction”.

Due to her achievements, Roopa has a shoe named after her by internationally acclaimed designer Marc Defang.

At the time she was named, she was the only Indian and South Asian to have that Honour.

Roopa was selected as one of CWEALF’s “40” Women Leaders under 40 in her final year of law school in 2014.

Roopa was the only South Asian to be selected and nominated by the Dean of the Law School.

Roopa has been selected as one of Malta House’s “ Wonder Women”.

The stage is set in London as WOHA celebrates women worldwide by the storm by appreciation, celebration, and gathering of beautiful souls“ Who is Who” in the International arena into her fold to showcase the humanitarian achievements of women in society.
