“Your Excellency, Thank You For Finding Me Worthy To Serve, I Will Live Up to Expectations” – Amb. Kemi Olawumi

Kogi State Cultural Ambassador, Kemi Olawumi, has appreciated the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for finding her worthy to serve as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Cultural Integration.

Amb. Kemi, in an interview with Newsmen in Lokoja, said her appointment came as a surprise, stressing that Governor Bello has once again proven his love and believe in the ability of the youths to deliver the required results.

“I feel so elated and am grateful to God almighty and to the Executive Governor of our dear State, H.E, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello for finding me worthy to serve

“He is a culture-loving, highly detribalized, youthful, purposeful and committed personality that God has blessed us with and am not taking rare opportunity given me for granted”

The SSA explained that she was only focused at promoting the rich cultural heritage of the people of the Confluence State at every given opportunity, describing Kogi State as a culture and tourism hub of Nigeria.

Hon. Kemi Olawumi added that with the privilege given her by the Governor, she will double her efforts and justify the confidence reposed in her by the Governor Bello led admnistration in the State.

She commended the Chief of Staff, Pharm. Muhammed Jamiu Abdulkareem Asuku for his pivotal role which led to her appointment and prayed God to continue to sustain, direct and grant him more wisdom at all times.

Amb. Kemi also appreciated traditional rulers in the State, whom she described as fathers with eagle’s sight that first discovered her cultural prowess and honoured her with the Kogi State Cultural Ambassador.

She commended them for their fatherly advice so far, promising to continue to live up to expectations.
