A group under the aegis of Lion Heart Association, (LHA) with members cut across the 21 local government area of Kogi State on Friday paid a courtesy call on their leader and award winning Commissioner for the Ministry of solid Minerals and Natural resources, Hon. Engr. High Chief Mohammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu for his philanthropic gesture rendered over over the years to the people of Kogi State.
The leader of the delegation, Mallam Muhammed Adawo said they were in the office of the Honourable Commissioner to specifically appreciate him for all he has been doing for the good people of Kogi State irrespective of religion, tribe and social considerations.
The group leader said their group is known for promoting good governance, religion tolerance and projecting the good image of present administration led by the youthful Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello whom Nigerian youths have today adopted as a rare role model.
He commended the Commissioner for operating an open door policy in which he said were the reason people now see him as a role model.
The group leader assured the youth friendly Commissioner of their unalloyed and unflinching support to enable him succeed in office and as prayed for success of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.
On his part, the State Commissioner for solid Minerals and natural resources, Engir. Mohammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu expressed deep gratitude to the group for finding his boss, benefactor and Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello worthy for commendation.
The famous Commissioner who is fondly called Bash Gegu said there was need to identify with a group of this great organization whose aim were to promote the government of the day, adding that support will spur the government to do more.
While appreciating them for show of love, courage, support, solidarity and prayers and assured of the government readiness to continued to partner with any genuine organization who have anything to offer. He said.
Global Times Nigeria report that the event witnessed presentation of GYB2PYB modernized T-shirt with assurance to rally round Nigerian youths for more support.
The event was also witnessed by the close aides of the Commissioner and staff of the Ministry for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources.
