A socio-cultural youth forum under the umbrella of AMAC PDP Gbagyi Youth Forum has rallied their support for the party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 general election, Atiku Abubakar.
The youth forum has also declared its support for the senate minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and the incumbent house of representatives member for AMAC/Bwari federal constituency, Hon Micah Jiba.
Chairman of AMAC PDP Gbagyi Youth Forum, Musa Jezhi, while speaking at the celebration of the forum’s mid-year conference in Abuja, on Monday, said the forum’s desire to rally their support for candidates was borne out of their commitment toward uplifting the standard of the good people FCT.
The youth forum specifically identified with the senate minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda, and the house of representatives member, Micah Jiba for their tireless efforts towards providing democratic dividends through infrastructural development across the 62 political wards of the territory.
Also speaking, the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) Hon Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, expressed his gratitude in the just concluded FCT Area council elections.
He said the Gbagyi Youth forum stood firmly to deliver PDP in the election in AMAC, while he further encouraged the forum to continue to keep the pace in the forthcoming elections of the Senate, house of representatives as well as the presidential election in 2023.
Highlights of the forum’s event were also the unveiling of the FCT PDP PROJECT 2023 tagged ‘Project ATIKU’ ‘Aduda Project’ and JIBA Project.
Our correspondent report that among dignitaries that graced the event, included the FCT Commissioner Public Complaints Commission ( PCC) Hon Ezekiel Musa Dalhatu, FCT PDP state organizing secretary, Samuel Danjuma Shekwolo, FCT PDP state secretary, Bako Angulo, and some leaders of the FCT indigenous youth group as well as newly appointed aides to the chairman of AMAC.
