The Executive Director of Wave of Success Foundation and a philanthropist,Hon.Chief Yusuf Okpanachi (Aka) Pablo has declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat, to represent Idah, Ibaji, Igala-mela and Ofu federal constituency in 2023 election.

Making his intention known to HRM Alaji Mathew Opaluwa Oguche Akpa 11 the Attah Igala and president, Kogi State Council of Chiefs. Hon. Pablo stated that, he developed interest in politics to change the legislative narrative of Idah federal constituency considering the present under representation where the voice of the Constituency is not heard on the floor of the house, he urged the people to support him for rapid development of the area.

He said, as a business person, he has used his contacts and connections to attract development and if given the opportunity in the 2023 House of Representatives race, he will do more and as a royal father, he decided to come for blessing before the public declaration.

Responding, HRM Alaji Mathew Opaluwa Oguche, Attah Igala, and president Kogi State Council of Chief welcomed Hon. Pablo and his entourage stated that as a private business personality he has been known and he will bless him with the royal blessing for the success of the Constituency and urged him not to turn his back on the Constituency needs as some politicians use to do only to show up after four years of another election without many impacts and advised him to go about his campaign with the message of peace and development of the land.

At the Quito Church primary school field, the venue of the declaration, Hon. Pablo assured the people of adequate representation if elected and urged the people to support him for the needed development of the area as the youths, women and other infrastructural development of the area will be given priority most especially the Ibaji sugar industry, among others.

Hon. Pablo promised to be the voice of the voiceless at the national assembly and be accountable to the electorate if elected and run an open-door policy.

He appreciated the leadership of APC at the national, state, local government, wards, and all the stakeholders, and party supporters for coming out in large numbers to witness the declaration ceremony, assuring them of better days ahead.

Similarly, Hon. Pablo paid an Easter visit to the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward Onoja at Ogugu, Olamaboro local government area to officially inform him of the declaration, he sought his support for the task ahead.

Responding, the Deputy Governor appreciated Hon. Pablo for coming with his large entourage for the celebration of Easter and described him as one individual that has done excellently well in business and humanitarian services and he told him to continue his campaign peacefully, devoid of violence as his boss, the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello sees and hears all the best among the aspirants will surely be voted for during the general election in 2023.

Chief Onoja wished all APC Aspirants across the state success.

On the issue of endorsement of aspirants, Chief Onoja stated that there is no iota of truth as the state APC Chairman Hon. Abdullahi Bello has responded to it both in print and electronic media as fake news and he does not believe in what is fake, he retreated as there is no official communication to that effect.

The Deputy Governor, Chief Onoja advised all aspirants to work hard by seeking support and votes from the delegates instead of engaging in spreading rumors.

Hon. Pablo is a successful businessman from the Ofu local government area of the state who is based in Abuja and blessed with his wife and children.
