2023: In Akwa Ibom, It’s all About Yahaya Bello’s Presidency As Youths Hold Rally Soliciting Nigerians’ Support

Heavy traffic was observed in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom state, on Saturday as thousands of young people from Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Calabar, Edo, and Bayelsa occupied Plaza and other roads, urging Nigerians to support the governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, in order for the youth to clinch power in 2023.

Thousands of young people marched for hours carrying placards with various inscriptions in support of a young president in 2023.

Speaking to the press during the rally, one of the rally’s leaders, Chief Sunny Ibanga, said that the youths decided to take to the streets to urge Nigerians to support Bello’s election as the country’s next president.

He believes the governor possesses the intellectual capacity and energy to lead the country. He stated that the governor’s accomplishments in education, health, and security were sufficient for the youths to rally behind him.

Comrade Paul Ibara, a member of the Bello Ambassadors Network (BAN), stated that the group has been conducting voter registration awareness and that it is certain that Nigerian youths have been able to equip themselves with their Personal Voters Cards to usher in a youthful and government.

“The young governor will win the All Progressive Congress ticket because of his achievements as governor and the need for the party to field the most sellable candidate to win the election next year,” the youths said.
