A Frontline Nasarawa Western senatorial Aspirant, Barrister Shuaibu Labaran Magaji, has called on delegates to elect leaders base on credibility ahead of APC primaries this scheduled to hold Sunday.
He stated this while addressing APC Local government Working committee of Keffi, Karu and Kokona Local government areas, Thursday.
It what could be described as last minutes campaign, Labaran to time to explained to the APC officials of Keffi, Karu and Kokona Local government areas as well as councilors representing ten electoral wards of Keffi Local government area, that the aspirants seeking to represent Nasarawa west senatorial district, Barrister Shuaibu Labaran Magaji, expressed gratitude for the support accorded him by the people of the three local government areas, promising them of good representation if elected in to the Senate.
Barrister Magaji, said even though the local Government EXCOS and councilors are excluded in the primaries but they still have a role to play in the election because the delegates are human being living within the people, calling on them to work towards his emergence as the flagbearer of APC in the next year’s general elections.
Magaji, said he has worked in various capacities of human endeavors which gives him courage to aspire for the senatorial seat after the elevation of senator Abdullahi Adamu to the Apex position as the National chairman of the all Progressives Congress APC, stating that he will continue from where Adamu stopped for the progress of the constituency.
Earlier, the director general, Barrister Labaran Magaji campaign organization, Yusuf Loko, described Labaran Magaji as humble who dedicated his service to human development, creating employment opportunity to teaming youths in Nasarawa State, among other track records of achievements, calling on delegates to chose the Aspirant for better representation.
Labaran Magaji with his campaign team, visited the palace of the emir of Keffi and the executive chairman of Keffi Local government area, Muhammad Baba Shehu, where he solicited their support to enable achieve his political objective, calling their supporters to avoid acts that will dent their reputation and that of the party.
Responding separately, the emir of Keffi, doctor Shehu Chindo Yamusa the third, represented by the Wambai Keffi, Ibrahim Audu, Chairman Keffi Local government area, Muhammed Baba Shehul, commended the campaign team of Magaji for their peaceful campaigns, urging other aspirants to emulate them for peaceful political atmosphere in the state.
