Following the internal crisis brewing All Progressives Congress, APC, in Nasarawa State arising from it’s recent primaries, Hon Abdulaziz SK Danladi, member representing Keffi East Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has officially resigned from ruling All Progressive Congress ( APC) in the state.

Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, the Speaker of the House made this known while reading Hon Abdulaziz’s resignation letter during the House sitting today in Lafia.

The speaker said that based on the letter, Abdulaziz has joined Action Alliance ( AA).

“This is a letter from Hon Abdulaziz SK Danladi, member representing Keffi East Constituency informing the House of his resignation from APC.

“The letter read as thus: Notice of Change of Party. I wish to formally inform the House of my resignation from the All Progressives Congress ( APC).

” This is due to internal party issues which the party is yet to resolve.

” I, therefore, resigned from APC and join Action Alliance ( AA),” he said.

It will be recalled that the lawmaker was elected in 2019 under the platform of Social Democratic Party, SDP, before decamping to ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and has provided a purposeful leadership to his people.

Hon Abdulaziz SK Danladi is now in Action Alliance to content for the position of house of representatives into the Keffi, Karu and Kokona federal constituency.

It was also reported that some National Assembly members and former lawmakers decamped to opposition parties, describing recent primaries as most unfortunate.
