2023 National Assembly elections: Abia group okays Daniel Imo for Arochukwu/Ohafia federal Constituency seat

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, a group, Nzuko Arochukwu/Ohafia League of Professionals (NAOLP), has okayed Reverend Daniel Imo, for the seat of Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency of Abia state at the House of Representatives on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Rising from its enlarged meeting held in Umuahia, the state capital, on Sunday, the group applauded Rev Imo for his uncommon disposition towards the welfare of the people and development of Arochukwu/Ohafia communities and the state at large.

This was stated in a communique jointly signed by Mr. Nwachukwu Maxwell and the Publicity Secretary, Kalu Idika , and made available to journalists in Umuahia on Monday.

The group noted the incomparable contributions and laudable gestures of Reverend Daniel Imo, to deepening democratic process in Abia and Nigeria at large, positing that time is now for the great people Arochukwu/ Ohafia federal Constituency to reciprocate and rally round him in the numerous and genuine calls by well-meaning constituents and critical political stakeholders, on him to run for the House of Representatives seat in the upcoming 2023 elections in the state.

The group gave Reverend Daniel Imo, pass mark on his capacity, ability and competence to rewrite the narratives of governance in the revered Arochukwu/Ohafia federal Constituency and also resolved to embark on through mobilization and sensitization of eligible citizens to visit designated centers for registration, Revalidation and collection of Permanent Voters Card being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to enable actualize the desire of people of the area, for effective and responsive representation of Arochukwu/ Ohafia Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.

The Abia group of professionals further harped on the essence of peace, unity and development of Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency and other area of the state, and reiterated that as a non-governmental organization, it shall always encourage development and progressive-minded people of the federal constituency to ascend to throne of leadership for the good of all, irrespective of tribal, religious and political affiliations.

The Nzuko Arochukwu/Ohafia League of Professionals, also encouraged the House of Representatives aspirant, Rev Daniel Imo, to remain resolute and committed to philanthropic styles that have positively and greatly impacted and enhanced youths, men and women empowerment and development.

Words: “we assure, and want to equally encourage him that the Nzuko Arochukwu/Ohafia Professionals at home and international community, thousands of eligible voters in the federal constituency are pleased and okayed with his bid to emerge next occupant of the seat of Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency in the upcoming elections in Abia and many parts of the country.

The group also used the medium to laud developmental strides of eminent sons and daughters of the Abia origin at the federal for their uncommon spirit and collective commitments towards bequeathing an economically and Infrastructurally stable Abia to the people, residents and non residents.

They have done well and have continued to put in their best to give the state a facelifts in all stratas of the Abia economic and Infrastructural development. And we pray to almighty God to strengthen them in their service to humanity and God, and as well, for peaceful transition of power come 2023″, the group concluded.
