2023 Presidential Race: Nigerians Won’t Vote For “Igbo Presidency Rather A Candidate From The Zone” – Buba Galadima Tells Igbos

A renowned grassroot politician, Elder Statesman and former ally of President Muhammadu Buhari, Alhaji Buba Galadima, has told people from the South East geopolitical zone to ‘remove Igbo Presidency’ from their dictionary, saying that Nigerians would not vote for an Igbo presidency in the 2023 election.

Alhaji Galadima disclose this on Monday while speaking in an interview on Arise Television, the popular TV Morning Show.

The elder statesman said that the people will support a candidate from South-East, but not “Igbo P1qresidency”.

According to him, “I have a lot of friends from South East, I can vote for any of them if they present themselves but I am not agreeing to “Igbo Presidency”

Ahead of the 2023 Presidential election there have been consistent calls for the presidency to return to the South region of the country particularly the South-East.

And in view of the clamour, Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state is reportedly plotting to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) over their failure to zone the presidency to the South-East.

Ohanaeze Ndigo Youth Council also called on the PDP to zone the Presidency to the region or experience major defections.
