The executive Chairman Toto local government area of Nasarawa State, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas has commended the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi for his commitment and numerous contribution to the development of the council.
Tashas stated this on Tuesday during the Speaker’s third term bid electioneering campaign flagged off which was held in Umaisha in Toto LGA, calling on electorate to work for the Speaker’s victory owing to his developmental effort over the years.
He said the area which came under heavy security threat due largely to Daru-Salam criminal activities was rescued as a result of Speaker influence and leadership wherewithal with the support of the state government under the pragmatic governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Sule.
While commending the Speaker people’s oriented leadership style and qulaity representation giving to the people of Umaisha/Ugya state constituency and state at large.
“We must realised the adage that says a devil you know could be far better than a total stranger, I’m aligning my interest with that of the Speaker whom I referred as a hero of nascent democracy.”
“We are going to ensure that Speaker Balarabe is voted back to power so that he will continue to give our people a better representation.”
“We are all living witnesses to his numerous contribution to our land ranging from education, infrastructure, peace, security, empowerment and appointment of our people into the government.”
The APC is the only party in Nigeria, the only platform in Toto LG working for her people and consolidating on all the gains achieved.
The flagged-off was witnessed by politicians within and outside the LGA.
