Homosexuality: Police Launch Manhunt for Osayomore Gabriel Ugiagbe

The Nigeria Police Force in Edo State has declared Osayomore Gabriel Ugiagbe wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation into alleged criminal activities.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, disclosed that one Fredrick Omene, who was arrested during a police operation in Benin City, allegedly mentioned Ugiagbe during interrogation as a person of interest in the case.
According to SP Nwabuzor, the arrest followed a tip-off that led operatives of the Operation Rescue team to raid a relaxation spot popularly known as “the Ghetto” in Benin City on the night of April 10, 2024.
He stated that Fredrick Omene and another suspect, identified as Johnson Okorie, were apprehended during the operation.
“During interrogation the following morning, Fredrick Omene mentioned Osayomore Gabriel Ugiagbe as a person linked to the ongoing investigation and someone the police need to question,” Nwabuzor said.
The police spokesperson noted that investigations are ongoing and emphasized the Command’s commitment to enforcing the law and ensuring due process.
SP Nwabuzor appealed to members of the public with useful information regarding Ugiagbe’s whereabouts to assist law enforcement, assuring that any information provided would be treated with strict confidentiality.
“The Edo State Police Command has declared Osayomore Gabriel Ugiagbe wanted and will continue efforts to locate him for questioning. We have visited his residence in Egor Local Government Area and his hometown in Ovia North East Local Government Area as part of our investigation,” he said.
The Command urged residents to remain law-abiding and report relevant information through appropriate security channels.
