Edo Deputy Governor Omobayo holds critical meeting with Edo North Elders Forum

Fresh indication has emerged that some critical stakeholders and prominent elders under Edo North Elders Forum (ENEF) have expressed their unflinching support to the governing People’s Democratic Party, PDP, led administration in Edo State under the leadership of Governor Godwin Obaseki.

The Elders Forum who met the Deputy Governor, Engr Marvellous Olubayo on Tuesday 14th, May 2024, held a strategic meeting in an effort to boost the victory PDP’s candidate, Asue Ighodalo.

Global Times Nigeria investigation revealed that the aim of the meeting was centred around strategizing towards the forthcoming September gubernatorial election.

Those who attended the meeting with the incumbent Deputy Governor of Edo State, Engr Marvellous Omobayo, include Aare Olu Fashanu, Senator Yisa Braimoh, His Excellency, Dr. Mike Oghiadomhe former Deputy Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Edo State, Senator Kassim Oyofo, Senator Francis Alimikhena and Rt. Hon. Tunde Akogun among others.
