has been described as well deserved appointment considering his impact and contribution to the development youth and Nigeria at large.

 

In a lead of congratulatory message issued by the Kogi State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Amb. Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale, on Wednesday 22nd, 2024, in Abuja, described Amb. Alhaji Mukhtar Akosh as a great man of Valour, who always talks about youth development.

Global Times Nigeria reports that the most attended event held at the Federal Ministry of Youth Development in Abuja, where Comrade Akoshile Mukhtar was officially inducted as the West Africa Regional Coordinator, Afro-Arab Youth Council.

The appointment letter was presented to Comrade Mukhtar by a delegation led by Dr Abbas Agaba from Uganda and Secretary General of the Afro-Arab Youth Council.

Dignitaries who attended the event include, Hon. Olawande Ayodele Wisdom, Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Sir Olusade Olusola, Former Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youth Development and FCTA.

Others are Amb. Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo, President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, National Executives and Directors of the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, while State chapter chairmen from North and South were present.

This appointment marks a significant milestone for Comrade Mukhtar and demonstrates his commitment to youth development in the region.

The Afro Arab Youth Council is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting youth empowerment and development across Africa and the Arab world.

 

Akoshile, who formerly served as acting National President of the NYCN, and presently the National Vice President representing North Central at the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) will now represent the country at the international level.
