Olamaboro LG Chairman assures of equal distribution of wealth, distributes food, cash, other items to widows

…..Calls for support, prayer for Gov Ododo’s success

Comr Ameh Williams, the Caretaker Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Area in Kogi State, assured the residents of his administration’s commitment to work closely with the people at the grassroots level, irrespective of religion and tribal differences.

The Chairman gave the hint on Friday, when he distributed food, cash and other valuable items to widows and some vulnerable people in the area.

He equally asked them to pray for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and all leaders to be able succeed in their respective offices.

Williams who reiterated His Excellency’s resolve to extend his sweetness to widows across the state, with the massive distribution of Palliative, revamping the state economy via prompt payment of workers Salaries, Pensioners, bursary payment to students in tertiary institutions, strengthen and
sustaining the healthcare sector in the state.

Hon. Williams assured the widows that Governor Ododo and his dear wife, have lofty plans for the widows and entire citizens of Olamaboro LGA and Kogi State at large.

We have graciously given the widows few bags of rice and cash for condiments as part of his Excellency’s “People First” mantra.

Williams therefore urged the widows to continue to pray for the success of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration adding that, if there is No Ododo as Governor then there is No Williams as Chairman, he said, when Widows pray, God answers them speedily. The Chairman also emphasized on the need for a comprehensive and accurate data of all the widows in the local government for effective planning and informed decision making.

Consequently, he advised that all small widow groups be collapsed into one elaborate group that will take care of all the widows in the local government, can be Named; OLAMABORO WIDOWS FORUM. he maintained that whatever is given to the widows should be distributed to all the widows in all the 10 wards across the LGA.

Responding, the Co-ordinator of the Widows Mrs Felicia Akor, thank the Governor for his Magnanimity, as well as the Caretaker Chairman for his love and for always opening his gate wild for people to come for one help or the other since his appointment, she maintained that, they have being seeing his good work across Olamaboro local government that, the Governor made the right Choice, she said despite most people behavior during the last election, she pray for the Governor and the Chairman successful tenure in office and promise that the widow won’t be deceived again by anybody selfish politician, they are now automatic APC.

The widows had a robust praying session for the Governor and the Caretaker Chairman and promised to continue the Governor wins at all levels.
