….Declares support for Ighodalo

By Imusen John

The Edo State chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, has again lost strong supporter and member, Christopher Ohunmangho to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, ahead of Edo State State Governorship election in the State.

The APC seems to be radiating consistent deprivation as members of the party in their thousands continue the upward trajectory of moving to embrace Dr Asue Ighodalo, the widely adjudged best candidate for the Edo State gubernatorial election.

Global Times Nigeria gathered that the former APC chieftain, Christopher Ohunmangho, is the Chairman/Director, Chris Osa Media Group, a one time godson and media ally to Senator Adams Oshiomole, the former Governor, for APC National Chairman and now Senator.

According to a statement released to the public on Friday, the media personality stated the reason for leaving APC;

“After much thought and reflection, I have come to the decision to formally tender my resignation from the APC, effective immediately.

“The reason behind my resignation is due to the evolution of my political beliefs and priorities. I have reached a point in my career where I feel it is necessary to remove any partisan interests and allow myself and my team to solely focus on providing unbiased and professional media coverage.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to all my followers who have supported me throughout the years. Your unwavering support has meant the world to me, and I assure you all that I will continue to strive for excellence and provide you with the best service possible.

“Thank you for your understanding and support”.

He was heartily welcomed to the Ighodalo’s political family that has always harped on inclusivity.
