The Caretaker Chairman Dekina LG Hon John Urah Ikani has Mourned the passing of a Great political leader and a Father of all, Senator Dr Alex Usman Kadri. The Ikani said his passing of former senator was so painful and described him as a Great Man, a father figure and a devoted politician in the State
The Caretaker Chairman in a statement on Friday, said the departure of the Distinguished Senator Dr Alex kadri had left a void that could not easily be filled, adding that Dekina /Kogi East had lost a source of genuine wisdom, guidance, and unwavering leadership.
“He was a Distinguished Senator, the Icon of Humanity and wisdom, and his contributions were truly exceptional, not only in the progress of Dekina LG and Kogi State Alone, but throughout Nigeria.
“Dekina LG have lost a father figure and a trusted confidant with the passing of Sen.Dr Alex Usman Kadri . As we all know, He was a man of Honour, the Great Icon of Humility, the Advocate of peace and development.
According to Caretaker Chairman Hon John Urah Ikani, the life of Senator Dr Alex kadri , was marked by peace, security, economic prosperity, and development in Dekina LG and Kogi State at large.
“The late Senator’s contributions were invaluable in maintaining stability in successive administrations in Dekina LG/Kogi State. Late father played a pivotal role in ensuring peace and security in Dekina LG, and Kogi State in general. These are things we cannot easily forget,” he added.
Hon John Urah Ikani extended his condolences to the immediate family of the late Senator Dr Alex Usman Kadri encouraging them to find solace in the impactful and fulfilling life he led during his time on earth and prayed to God to give them the fortitude to bear the Irreplaceable loss.
The Distinguished Senator. (Dr) Alex Usman Kadri passed on at the age of 82 on june 27, 2024.
