Abia APC members resolved to eschew rancour

The members of All Progressives Congress (APC), Obuzor Ward in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State, have resolved to eschew their individual interests and differences to ensure victory for the party in subsequent elections.
The party members made the resolution at a well- attended stakeholder’s meeting held at the residence of Chief Sam Ogbonnna in Obibor- Obuzor in Ukwa West LGA at the weekend.
In his opening remarks, the ward chairman of the APC, Promise Nwuka encouraged members to remain steadfast in their support loyalty and support to the party, assuring that there would be light at the end of the tunnel.
Also speaking, the convener of the party stakeholders meeting, Chief Sam Ogbonna charged members of the APC to imbibe all virtues of togetherness and jettison any forms of divisive tendencies capable of truncating the party’s electoral prospects.
In their separate speeches, former executive Chairman of Ukwa West Local Government Area, Chief Syvalnus Nwaji, ex-NDDC commissioner, Chief Nwogu N Nwogu, and stakeholder, Princewill Ikocha tasked members to remain committed and resolute to the ideals for which APC is known.
“We must jettison backbiting, pull him or her syndrome and focus on victory come 2027. And that will be the only way members can fully benefit from their political toiling,”they posited.
The Abia members resolved to work as a family and assured that they would work assiduously towards securing victory for the party at all levels.
They further resolved to reach out to the representative of Abia State in Niger Delta Development Commission (NNDC) Board, Eruba Dimgba to plead for inclusion of Obuzor Ukwa west in the NDDC-sponsored empowerment program,and as well to assure him of oir continued support.
The APC stakeholders reiterated that the party is poised to reclaim its known and rightful position in Ukwa west politics.
