Honorable Ameh Williams, the Transition Committee Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State, has appealed to the people of the area to support the fight against insecurity to maintain law and order for sustainable economic prosperity.

Williams emphasized the need for sustained collaboration and synergy among security agencies in tackling security challenges particularly the borders and other parts of the Olamaboro axis.

The security-conscious Chairman disclosed on Friday 5th July 2024, when he joined other security agencies to do road work in the Olamaboro and Ogugu Districts of the local government.

The elated CTC Chairman revealed the progress made so far through joint operations and intelligence-gathering reports and expressed confidence that continued cooperation would lead to the resolution of security issues in the area.

According to him, the success story wouldn’t be easy if not for the effective working relationship between the military, police, and other security agencies.

He praised the sincere commitment of the Divisional Police Officer, DPO’s significant contributions to the current peace in the local government.

He thanked Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State for providing an enabling environment and all that is needed to ensure peace and tranquility in the area.

He assured the governor that the people of Olamaboro LG were fully with him and prayed to God for his success.
