Edo 2024: APC Consistent Lies and Propaganda

The Edo State chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC, can never be separated from its unabated lies and propaganda for some sufficient reasons. First, they are fielding two very incompetent candidates for the upcoming gubernatorial election slated for September 21 govership election all things being equal.
Secondly, the prevailing economic situation in the country which is necessitating the planned nationwide protests is a major concern for the Party that has plunged millions into poverty and penury. So for these two reasons, the Party must try at every turn to deface these two sad situations with volumes of lies and propaganda in a bid to deceive the gullible amongst the people.
Like what the German historian and philosopher, Hannah Arendt, said, this APC lies and propaganda, which have now become very consistent are really not meant for the people to believe, the aim is to ensure that the gullible people don’t believe anything anymore. The Party knows there are gullible people, people who can no longer distinguish between that which is right and that which is wrong. They cannot separate between lies and truth. These are people who cannot basically think for themselves unless they are told what to think.
The consistencies of the APC lies and propaganda are meant to subject these people to the whims and caprices – they are subjected completely to be ruled over by these lies and propaganda because knowing these people exist, the APC thinks it can do anything it wants.
Just recently, the Edo State government alerted the people of the state to disregard an unsigned statement carrying a message titled “Anti-Bad Governance Protest and Rally,” which it described as “fake” which I know is being circulated by members of the APC to stir crisis. They are used to all these types of lies and propaganda.
But for us, we have the duty to dispelled their lies and propaganda going into this election. We must tell the people how the APC has plunged the entire nation into abject poverty while those of them in office are living large. The APC cannot be brought to Edo State for we are not ready for the state to be handed over to propagators of lies and propaganda, and economic saboteurs. Edo State cannot again be handed over to dens of tigers and lions, we are two sophisticated to be led to the era of agberoism.
When you see the campaigns of the two political misfits: Senator Monday Okpebholo and his running mate, Hon. Dennis Idahosa, you will concede the the superior argument that apart from lies and propaganda, there is nothing normal that can be used to sell them to the Edo State voters. Juxtapose these two with Dr Asue Ighodalo and his running mate, Bar Osarodion Ogie, you will agree with me that no matter the blinding lies and propaganda, no matter the intention to confuse the common people, we must not allow their plans to flourish.
Edo State has moved beyond lies and propaganda, it has moved beyond tigers and lions, it has moved beyond the era of misfits in office, it has moved beyond Okpebholo and Idahosa.
