The Kogi Local Government Area All Progressives Congress, APC, Chairmanship candidate, Honourable Musa Abdulmalik has made a promise to be fair to all, indicating a commitment to Impartiality, Equity, Justice, inclusivity and transparency if elected to serve as Executive chairman of the council

Mr. Abdulmalik who is the incumbent Caretaker Committee Chairman of Kogi LGA, said his new administration will treat all individuals and groups equally, without bias or prejudice. Ensuring that resources and opportunities are distributed fairly and justly. Upholding the principles of justice and ensuring that all citizens are treated with dignity and respect., as well embracing diversity and ensuring that all voices are heard and represented. And Operating with openness and honesty, allowing citizens to hold them accountable.

The hopeful APC Chairmanship candidate also said his aims in politics Is to bridge divides and unite the council across religion, tribes and social affiliation, address historical injustices and inequalities and more so foster a sense of belonging among all citizens

He said he will make decisions based on merit and need, rather than personal gain or favoritism and restore trust in government and leadership

Global Times Nigeria report that the chief security officer of Kogi LG is signaling his commitment to ethical leadership and a fairer society for all.

Abdulmalik stated this on Tuesday shortly after picking the party’s nomination form at the State party secretariat Lokoja, Kogi State capital, promised to ensure that wealth is distributed equally among the people of Kogi LG irrespective of religion, tribe and party affiliation if voted.

The APC chairmanship candidate took a significant step by picking up party nomination forms, indicating his intention to run for the chairmanship position under the governing party banner.

Global Times Nigeria gathered that he has earlier declared interest in the chairmanship role, met the party’s initial requirements and is willing to abide by the party’s rules and regulations.

According to him, he is fully prepared to go through the party’s nomination process, aims to represent the party in the upcoming election

Abdulmalik has demonstrated through the party’s values and goals, even as he pledged to ensure the security of the people through working closely with traditional rulers, security agencies and residents amongst others.

He assured the people of Kogi LG of robust and people’s oriented initiatives and called on them to give him necessary support to win the upcoming election as well serve them diligently.

The Chairmanship candidate was received by state APC officials from Kogi LG and accompanied by the 11 wards councilorship candidates who also picked their nominations forms.

 

Hon Musa Abdulmalik who praised the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo for providing security, governance and enabling environment which were the fulcrum and foundation he is building upon as the council helmsman.
