Pipeline surveillance security guru in Nigeria, Government Ekpemukpolo, Alias Tompolo has been commended for creating jobs and securing the environment by his extraction, the Niger Delta Region, Ijaw Peoples Association in the Diaspora resident in Great Britain and Island in London .
The commendation came on the heels of an award and recognition to the pipeline expert at the 76th Ijaw day celebration held at the Clever Banquet hall for carrying out a joint efforts for community service and national development.
According to the Ijaw residents in the diaspora, the efforts of the pipeline security surveillance expert had paid off by reducing crude oil thefts in the country.
The Chairman Tantita Security Services who used the opportunity to thank the good people of Niger Delta in the diaspora for appreciating the good gesture been carried out, lauded the efforts of the community for appreciating the good works far away from Nigeria .
While promising to redouble efforts at securing the national assets , he said the multiple benefits of attracting socioeconomic and political development of a secured pipeline cannot be overlooked.
“We are going to move into serious action , were we will stop all illegal activities in the Niger Delta region because we don’t have any other country to call our own , but Nigeria.so we are going to do everything to protect our country , our environment and nation.” Tompolo asserted.
He said Tantita Security Services is ready to declare war against economic saboteurs and pipe vandals and polluters who have carried out their illegal activities without restrictions.
The pipeline creeks and the high sea had been the area of operations of pipeline vandals and economic saboteurs in the Niger Delta Region were petroleum products are been siphoned .
Professor Benjamin Okaba and Bubarayo Dakolo an indigene and members of Ijaw Peoples Association said the award of surveillance contract has reduced to the barest minimum the incidence of oil theft in the Niger Delta, asking him to continue his good work .
Tompolo has used the security surveillance outfit to engage personnel among many others which has reduced the existence and destruction of illegal refineries,
According to Jonathan Lokpobiri and Professor Benjamin Okaba, the engagement of Tompolo will bring about positive regeneration of the Niger Delta Region and exposed some cabals outside the region who were involved in crude oil theft.
They said with Tompolo and the Tantita Security Services, the pipeline surveillance company , Nigeria and the Niger Delta will be better for it.
