The Unbridled Tongue: A Cautionary Tale of Disrespect to Womanhood

Evangelist Mrs Maria Edo North PDP Senatorial Woman Leader

In the wisdom of an elders, “respect lies on the ground, awaiting the noble to lift it up and embody it.” However, some individuals, like Adams Oshiomhole, seem to have forgotten this wisdom.

Oshiomhole’s unguarded utterances, akin to “mouth diarrhea,” erode respect and love from those who listen to him. His words lack tact and consideration, imperiling his own integrity.

It’s puzzling that Oshiomhole mocks those without children, as if his own offspring were solely his achievement. Does he not consider his audience’s sensibilities?

His words, though justified in his mind, reveal a lack of wisdom and decorum. What political point does he aim to make by resorting to abuse and vitriol?

As a former governor and serving senator, one expects more gravitas and restraint. Let this be a lesson: respect is fragile, and the unbridled tongue can swiftly undo even the greatest reputations.

Oshiomhole would do well to heed this wisdom and temper his words with the dignity his office demands.
