The fast-approaching September 21 gubernatorial election, presents to Edos at home and abroad a viable opportunity to vote out APC’s proposed insecurity in Edo; a few days ago, while on campaigns, the APC and its candidate, Akpakomiza, vowed to provide insecurity for Edo people.

An unsolicited pledge that has caused anxiety and unrest across various quarters in Edo State.

Edo residents have been left to wonder, whereas administrations, serving and incoming, are working round the clock to tackle insecurity and existential threats, the APC in Edo, in a fearless twist, has said it will provide the scourge of insecurity for Edo people, if elected.

One is left to wonder if the APC and its managers have lost their minds.

A critical introspection in the Party, though, the APC has not necessarily impressed Nigerians, its promises have been left unfulfilled, its policies are anti-people and currently throws Nigerians in unbearable hardship, homes are unable to meet daily demands as cost of consumables, including, but not limited to food and petrol has skyrocketed.

Nigerians at home and in the diaspora are now groaning, wondering how a destructive, crass and inhumane Party as the APC got to power at the national stage.

At the Edo homefront however, the hundreds of thousands of voters in Edo have said a resounding NO to the APC.

Edos, whom now share in the collective hardship, hunger and hopelessness currently bedeviling Nigerians, have vowed never to reinforce APC’s insecurity, hardship, hunger, lack and want in Edo, and as the September 21 gubernatorial election draws nigh, PDP/Asue-Ogie has continued to fill the hearts and minds of Edos, who are now determined more than ever to vote out APC’s insecurity in Edo.

Extensively, Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie, has taken the message of hope and pathway to prosperity across the nooks and crannies of the State; the duo have said they will sustain the security rapprochement currently in place in Edo, and improve security to cater for the life and properties of Edo people, unlike Akpakomiza, who wants to provide insecurity, Asue-Ogie has expressed determination to rally Edo’s security apparatchik to continuously protect our territories against external and internal invasion.

Unlike the APC, that has heralded untold hardship in our land, PDP/Asue-Ogie has said they will continue to cross-pollinate ideas, aimed at fostering internal democracy and strengthening ongoing infrastructure rebirth in Edo; unlike the APC that lacks empathy, PDP/Asue-Ogie has said they will continue to carry Edo people along in the developmental discourse in Edo.

“This is not the time to massage hunger, hardship and high cost of living now sufficiently perpetrated by the APC, we are voting out the destructive APC September 21”, Edos have vowed.

And while the PDP/Asue-Ogie continue to interact with Edos across the board, many PVC holders are now warming up, kissing their PVCs, engaging their neighbours, in readiness to vote PDP/Asue-Ogie this month.

Voters across demographics—men, women and youths, have said it is an unpardonable act to identify with a Party that has thrown Nigerians under the bus, Edos have expressed strong determination to wage a strong revolutionary movement against the APC this September, by voting out the Party’s proposed insecurity for Edo people.

Edo people notes, with strong determination, that September 21 is a day to vote out APC’s insecurity in Edo State.
