With the October 19 local government elections in Kogi State drawing near, Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Hon. Mohammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu, has appealed to the residents of Kogi/Koton-karfe local government area to remain confident in the governing All Progressives Congress, APC, given its numerous accomplishments in recent years.
Engr. Bashir Gegu stressed the importance of continuity, encouraging residents to vote overwhelmingly for the ruling party to further benefit from Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s ongoing transformative initiatives.
Engr. Bashir Gegu urged his supporters and constituents to participate in the upcoming council polls on 19th October, 2024, by casting their votes for the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidates.
The commissioner appealed to voters to support APC Chairmanship and councillorship candidates across the local government’s 11 electoral wards, ensuring their ballots will make a tangible impact.
The Kogi LG political leader encouraged the electorate to acknowledge the significance of sustaining momentum through consolidation and continuity, underscoring the importance of expanding upon current progress and advancing multiple projects, while reaffirming a steadfast commitment to fostering an environment of progress, unity, and prosperity within the local government.
