TODA reaffirms support for Nasarawa State Govt’s initiatives – Chief Maikaya

The Toto Development Association (TODA) has reconfirmed its support for the development policies of the Nasarawa State government. The leadership emphasizes the value of collaboration in enhancing local infrastructure and stimulating economic growth, with the aim of improving the welfare of residents in the area.
The President General of the TODA, Chief Musa Muhammed Maikaya, made the pledge during the association’s end-of-year meeting, which took place at the Central Primary School in Toto, the local government headquarters on Sunday.
The Toto Development Association Day celebration convened sons and daughters of the local government, establishing a forum to deliberate strategies for the advancement, unity, and progress of the Toto community.
Addressing the gathering, President General Musa Muhammed Maikaya revealed the association’s fundamental goal of fostering unity and cooperation among its members and the local community, expressing appreciation for members’ efforts in maintaining peace and stability within the community.
Maikaya, a prominent All Progressives Congress, APC, Chieftain, an award-winning philanthropist, and former Governorship aspirant in the State, said the association is expressing it’s unwavering support for the state government’s policies and programs aimed at attracting development, urging community members to continue fostering peace and unity.
Chief Maikaya, who holds the title ‘Ciroman Toto’, conveyed his appreciation to the people of Toto for their exceptional support, which he cited as the source of strength that has led the association to the promised land.
Barrister Yakubu Galadima, Chairman of the occasion, termed the gathering a significant reunion.
The award-winning legal luminary conveyed appreciation to Governor Abdullahi Sule for the recent electoral success of TODA member Ahmed Baba Yahaya, who was elected Chairman of the Toto Local Government Council, and pledged to provide him with necessary support.

The council boss also noted that the gathering exemplifies unity, development, and progress, urging members to remain steadfast and dedicated to community development.
